Authors and Institutions

Text of Abstract

A maximum of 400 words are allowed. This will include the title, sub-titles, authors and affiliations, but does not include any tables and/or graphs. Exceeding the word limit will result in points deducted.

  • All abstract(s) must be submitted by 23:59 hours on the 26th August 2018.

  • Also, kindly ensure that you have provided the email address(es) that you check frequently.

  • The data/abstract should not have been published in any scientific journal prior to submission
  • Submissions will only be accepted via the online system. Please visit https://doctorsacademy.org.uk/coursenw/bapio/abstract-submission/ for submitting the abstracts
  • Microsoft Word should be used to create the abstract. Copy and Paste the writing/words in ‘Submit Research Abstracts’ text box while registering online.
  • The word count includes the title, the sub-headings, authors list, affiliations, address and a maximum of 5 keywords.
  • Abstracts will be independently scored by panel of experts and highest scoring abstracts will be invited for oral presentations, unless the submission was only for poster presentation
  • A number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations on 13th October (Saturday) From this, the judges will select the top five presenters who will then present their work in the plenary session on 14th October (Sunday).
  • A number of further authors will be invited to present their work as posters at the conference on Saturday 13th October.
  • You can submit as many abstracts as you like; If more than one abstract is accepted from the same team, separate presenters should register for each abstract accepted
