About World University Anatomy Challenge

Anatomy is an integral component in both the undergraduate medical curriculum and during clinical practice. A sound knowledge of anatomy is essential not just in the field of surgery but also in other disciplines such as emergency medicine, radiology, interventional medicine and critical care.

The ‘World University Anatomy Challenge’, the first of its kind in the world, is to be held during the International Medical Summer School on the above dates. The initial rounds will include 275 participants representing some 75 universities from 25 countries. The winner will be awarded a trophy, certificate and prizes worth £250.

Entry criteria : Due to high demand, this year the event is open only to participants of the International Medical Summer School. The participant should be a medical student from any recognised university. Entry to the competition is FREE.

Winning Moment of World University Anatomy Challenge 2017

Miss Francesca Simon from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic is the winner of the 6th World University Anatomy Challenge 2017
