The HYMS Student Research Society is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Student Research Society Conference. This year the conference will return to the Allam Medical Building of the University of Hull. The society hopes to bring together medical students and students from other allied health professions.
The conference will consist of talks given by two keynote speakers, one from a medical and another from a non-medical background, who are experts in their respective fields. In addition to the two lectures, there will also be a wide range of topic-based seminars and workshops. These aim to enable delegates to learn practical skills, try new methods of research and hear about recent findings in the field.
The conference will be free to attend, however a refundable deposit of £10.00 will be required. This will be returned to attending delegates at the conference; please speak to a member of the organising team on arrival.
Abstract submissions are welcome. Abstract submissions may be submitted to https://forms.gle/et8qfpAXDmcW4jKj7 and must be received no later than 2359 hours on the 16th November 2019.
Abstracts will be judged anonymously by an academic panel. The abstracts selected for presentation will be awarded a prize and will be given the opportunity to present their research.
The format of the abstract will be as follows:
