About

The International Undergraduate ENT Surgery Conference 2026, themed “Beyond the Scope: Exploring the Spectrum of Otolaryngology”, is a one‑day educational event designed for medical students and early foundation doctors from the UK and internationally. The programme will feature keynote lectures from leading consultants in otology, rhinology, paediatric ENT, and head and neck surgery, alongside a dedicated panel on navigating the UK training pathway and building a competitive portfolio.

Afternoon sessions will focus on hands‑on, simulation‑based workshops using high‑fidelity and innovative technologies. These include acute epistaxis management, tracheostomy and emergency airway techniques, tympanoscopy, rhinoplasty simulation, and immersive anatomical learning through ultrasound and virtual reality platforms.

The conference also offers an opportunity for medical students and foundation doctors to present research‑related poster presentations in ENT, which will be showcased during a dedicated poster session and judged by senior clinicians. Prizes will be awarded for outstanding submissions.

By integrating academic engagement with practical skills training and career insight, the conference aims to promote early involvement in ENT and inspire the next generation of clinicians to explore the breadth and future of the specialty.
