CODE RED '19: DECCS Annual Undergraduate Trauma Conference

DECCS Annual Undergraduate Trauma Conference will take place on Saturday 9th March 2019 at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The theme of this year's event is "Major Trauma and Fire".

It intends to provide the delegate with an insight into major trauma, major incident management and emergency management of burns, and enhance his/her understanding of fundamental aspects pertaining to the area. The day will comprise of a series of keynote talks delivered by specialists in the field, as well as three workshops which aim to allow delegates to develop and consolidate practical skills in areas equated to the management of major incidents.

The afternoon will consist of a Major Incident Simulation which will involve a realistic, stimulating scenario where delegates will be able to consolidate newly acquired skills.
