ICSM Paediatrics Society’s Annual Conference is returning in 2020 with a new theme - A Changing Speciality: Future Directions and New Challenges.

With a day full of workshops and talks focusing on how the speciality is evolving, the conference will consider ways of adapting to meet the emerging needs of the population and the exciting technological advances and their associated ethical challenges.

This event is open to all university students and healthcare professionals, including those with an interest in Paediatrics. There will be an opportunity for delegates to share their Paediatric research projects during a designated poster presentation session. Lunch and certificates of attendance for your portfolio will be provided to all attending delegates.

Aims and Objectives

To provide an insight into the future developments in the field of Paediatrics, the new challenges that will be faced by the profession and how these challenges may be overcome.
To enable medical students and junior doctors to develop their practical and communication skills through workshops.
To provide an opportunity for medical students and junior doctors with an interest in Paediatric research to present their projects through a poster presentation.
To enable medical students to better appreciate the scope of Paediatric medicine, especially with regards to ethics and law, technological development and career options.
