This talk will discuss the management of common conditions in trauma and orthopaedics.It aims to build the confidence of senior medical students and Foundation Year 1 Doctors to help them to better appreciate the needs of surgical patients.

It will provide an overview of the following topics:
  • Management of septic arthritis of the knee in adults and children)
  • Management of sports injuries of the knee
  • Management of types of fractured neck of femur in elderly patients
