About
In addition to touching upon some core elements in applied basic sciences (such as applied physiology and critical care), this intensive course will provide the attendee with a sound understanding of the essential management principles of common conditions seen in the various surgical subspecialities and disciplines.
This course will predominantly cover microbiology, pharmacology, genetics, statistics, vascular surgery, breast surgery, burns, plastic surgery, trauma and orthopaedic surgery, endocrine surgery, upper GI surgery, HPB surgery, colorectal surgery, transplant surgery, paediatric surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, urology and the principles of surgery in general. In addition, pathologies relevant to the above systems will also be discussed.
