Aims and Objectives
- To introduce Medical Students and Foundation Year Doctors to surgical equipment encountered in the field of neurosurgery.
- To provide Medical Students and Foundation Year Doctors with practical experience in handling neurosurgical equipment in a safe, simulated environment.
- To allow Medical Students and Foundation Year Doctors the opportunity to ask questions related to the field of neurosurgery to current registrars and attend a talk on neurosurgical registrar application process.

About
The National Neurosurgical Workshop will provide delegates with an opportunity to gain a variety of new skills and practice through workshops including drilling burr holes, craniotomies, using diamond drills, spinal fixation, glioblastoma resection VR simulator, extra-ventricular drain insertion and suturing using theatre microscopes.
