About
The Glasgow University’s Annual Undergraduate Obstetrics and Gynaecology Conference is a full day
event which will include specialist talks on a wide range of topics within the obstetrics and gynaecology
field, In addition there will be a number of clinical skills workshops.
The conference will provide delegates with an opportunity to gain exposure to the speciality and to learn
from leading experts in the field
There will also be the opportunity for attending delegates to present research in the form of poster
presentations.
Aims and Objectives
- To provide delegates with an awareness of the speciality within the medical school environment
- To provide delegates with an awareness of the diverse range of topics obstetrics and gynaecology encompasses
- To provide delegates with an insight into a career in obstetrics and gynaecology and what the training pathway entails
- To increase delegates exposure to the field and to advise them on how they can get involved in the speciality.
- To provide delegates with the opportunity to present their own research in the field in the form of poster presentations.
