Glasgow University Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society are pleased to announce the return of their annual conference.

Due to the current Covid pandemic the event will be held online.

The event seeks to provide delegates with a number of informative talks on a broad range of topics within the specialty.

There will also be short discussions aimed at helping students gain insight to a career in O&G and providing advice on tailoring and building CVs.

The aim of the conference is to provide an opportunity for students at all stages to gain more exposure to the specialty.

Aims and Objectives

  • To increase awareness of obstetrics and gynaecology as a specialty
  • To increase awareness of a broad range of topics currently relevant in obstetrics and gynaecology
  • To improve understanding of obstetrics and gynaecology as a career and the training process
  • To provide advice on how to increase exposure to the speciality throughout medical school and early training years
  • To provide an opportunity to present research in the form of a poster presentation

Abstracts for poster presentation are welcome. These may be audit, research, or case presentation.

Structured abstracts should not exceed 300 words.

All abstracts should be submitted to no later than 12 noon on Friday 23rd April 2021.
