SIOPEL (Société Internationale d’Oncologie Pédiatrique Epithelial Liver Group) was founded on the basis of friendship and cooperation between clinicians committed to improving treatments and outcomes for children and young people with liver tumours. It has since grown into a comprehensive, multidisciplinary, international group of surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and researchers, with ongoing successful international research projects, the PHITT/AHEP1531/JCCG trial being the foremost.
The SIOPEL 2025 Spring Conference will take place in Cardiff, United Kingdom. It will consist of three days of discussions, presentations, meeting old friends, and welcoming new members. The aim of the meeting is to advance knowledge, exchange ideas, foster new collaborations, and strengthen existing associations. Young investigators are also encouraged to attend.
