We invite you to the 2025 Welsh National Surgical Conference in Swansea, a premier event tailored for medical students and junior doctors with a keen interest in surgery. This year, the WNSC proudly celebrates seven years as a medical student-led conference dedicated to the advancement of surgery in Wales and globally. Established in 2018 by passionate medical students eager to pursue surgical careers and enhance their clinical expertise, the WNSC has since experienced significant growth and is now an annual event for aspiring surgeons in Wales.

Event Highlights:

  • Engaging Talks: Hear from renowned speakers, including a welcome address by Mr Bragg and sessions on Celebrity Breast Surgery and Ophthalmology: Politics and Medicine.
  • Hands-on Workshops: Of the six workshops, attendees will be allocated to four interactive workshops covering essential skills such as vascular anastomosis, nasal packing and quinsy drainage, tumour removal techniques, and more.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with experienced surgeons and fellow attendees to enhance your professional journey.
